Malacañang has declared Wednesday, May 21, as a special non-working day in Malabon City as a celebration of its 426th founding anniversary.

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang has declared Wednesday, May 21, as a special non-working day in Malabon City as a celebration of its 426th founding anniversary.

Proclamation No. 904, signed on Tuesday, stated that “it is but fitting and proper that the people of the City of Malabon be given full opportunity to participate in the occasion and enjoy the celebration.”

“NOW, THEREFORE, I, LUCAS P. BERSAMIN, Executive Secretary, by authority of the President, FERDINAND R. MARCOS, JR., do hereby declare Wednesday, 21 May 2025, a special (non-working) day in the City of Malabon,” it also read.
