MANILA, Philippines — Interior Secretary Jonvic Remulla said Monday he has yet to learn whether President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. will accept his courtesy resignation.
He made the remark during a chance interview with reporters while inspecting a police station in Quezon City on Monday.
“I don’t know whether I’ll still have a job later. It’s up to the president. Until the final word is announced, we don’t know that,” he said.
“Meanwhile, work goes on… It just keeps going. Governance never ends,” he added.
