MANILA, Philippines — The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Tuesday said 3,156 examinees passed the May 2025 Certified Public Accountants Licensure Exam (CPALE).

This represents 33.11 percent of the 9,533 examinees who took the tests held from May 25 to 27 at testing centers in Metro Manila, Baguio, Butuan, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Koronadal, Legazpi, Lucena, Pagadian, Pampanga, Rosales, Tacloban, Tuguegarao, and Zamboanga.

The topnotcher is John Elrich Ramirez Gamboa of the University of the Philippines Diliman, who scored 92.67 percent.

He was followed by Aleya Francis Romanes de Guzman of De La Salle University-Manila, who scored 91 percent.

Jianna Chelsea Suarez Iral of Holy Angel University ranked third with a score of 90.83 percent.

The University of the Philippines Diliman was named the top-performing school with a 100 percent passing rate.
