Transportation Secretary Vince Dizon denounced on Thursday what he called a “clear case of harassment” against the uploader of a viral video that showed six passenger buses of GV Florida purportedly racing each other on a highway in Isabela on June 8.
“For the one who uploaded the video, we assured him yesterday that the government will protect them and that we will provide them with legal assistance against the threat of GV Florida to sue them,” Dizon said.

He added that he has also directed the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board to warn GV Florida that “if they pursue [the case], they will go [up] against the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the government.”
The bus company earlier said it would sue the uploader for cyberlibel after the DOTr suspended for a month 15 of its buses operating routes in Cagayan and in the Cordillera region.
