Napolcom investigates if cops were involved in missing ‘sabungeros’ case

The National Police Commission (Napolcom) is investigating a claim that police officers were involved in the abduction of cockfighting enthusiasts or “sabungeros.”

The claim came from one of the case’s suspects, a Manila cockfighting arena security guard identified only as “Totoy,” in a GMA News interview aired last Tuesday.

Cables stolen from NCAP cameras in Guadalupe — MMDA

Cables had been stolen from closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras used for the no-contact apprehension policy (NCAP) program in the Guadalupe area in Makati City, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.

CCTV footage from a nearby bus stop showed that the cables were taken last Friday, June 20.
