“Parang nauna mag file dyan, ewan kung CIDG [Criminal Investigation and Detection Group]. So hindi ako makapag bigay ng statement dyan, kasi wala pa kaming nakukuha na dokyumento na sinampahan ako ng kaso,” Duterte said in Filipino, as translated by his staff.

FEATURED STORIES

(The first to file, I am not sure if it’s CIDG. The CIDG filed first and the testimony, and affidavit, in social media before the fiscal. So I can’t give a statement on that, because we still don’t have a copy of the case filed against me.)

(For my fellow Davaoeño, you have watched a video again. It happened a long time ago. But it is your decision on who you will vote for as the 1st District Congressman. I will not intervene. My lawyer also advised me.)

Duterte was previously given travel clearance for his trip to multiple countries including the Netherlands, China, Japan, the United States, Australia, the United Kingdom, South Korea, and some Asean member-states. The clearance covers his travels from March 20, 2025 to May 10, 2025.
